The TL;DR

Logly is built for students and young adults. We value your privacy as much as we value a good deal on coffee. We don't sell your data, we don't track you across the web, and we don't do anything "funny" with your expenses.

Data Collection

When you use Logly via Google OAuth, we collect:

  • Account Info: Primary Email, Name, and Profile Picture.
  • Financial Logs: Your daily expenses (amount, category, description, date).
  • Subscriptions: Recurring costs and billing dates.
  • Preferences: Currency settings, targets, and quick-log items.
  • Technical: PWA notification tokens (if enabled) for reminders.

How We Use Data

Your data is used strictly for providing the service:

  • Storing and retrieving your expense history securely.
  • Generating spending reports and monthly breakdowns.
  • Authenticating your session via Supabase.
  • Sending reminders for subscriptions or logging costs (if enabled).

Storage & Security

We take data security seriously:

  • Supabase: Your data is stored in a secure Postgres database with Row Level Security (RLS) ensuring only YOU can access YOUR data.
  • Hosting: Vercel handles our hosting with standard SSL encryption for all traffic.
  • OAuth: We never see or store your Google password.

Your Rights

You are in control:

  • Export: You can export your data as CSV or JSON at any time from the settings.
  • Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data from the profile settings. This action is permanent.

Third Parties

We do not share your financial logs with any third-party marketing companies. We use Vercel Analytics to understand app performance andGoogle OAuth for secure login.
